Did you file an extension? It's a purr-fect time to file your return!

If you requested an extension of time to file your personal income tax return and haven't filed yet, don't worry. We'll walk you through the process: 

  1. Gather your information, such as Forms W-2 and 1099.
  2. Create an Online Services account, then sign up for email notifications.
  3. If you’re self-employed, review your tax account balance.

Use Sales Tax Web File

Log in to your Business Online Services account to Web File your sales tax returns. With Web File, you can schedule payments in advance, save your bank account information for future use, and update your business information.

Respond to a department notice

If you receive a bill or notice, respond online. It's the easiest, fastest way. We'll walk you through the process.

What's New

Businesses can now use Quick Pay

Need to make a payment toward a bill, notice, or installment payment agreement (IPA)? Whether you're an individual or a business, you can use Quick Pay to make payments. There's no fee and you don't need an Online Services account.

Highway Use Tax (HUT) renewal period is now open

Renewal begins October 1, 2024. You must obtain a new certificate of registration and decal for each vehicle. The 24th series HUT and Automotive Fuel Carrier Certificates of Registration and decals will expire on December 31, 2024.

Changes effective March 2025 to withholding tax and wage reporting

To improve your filing experience, reduce errors, and increase compliance for employer reporting of each employee’s information, the Tax Department is streamlining withholding tax and wage reporting forms and Web File applications.
