Tax Department Experts Available to Answer Last-Minute Filing Questions
The personal income tax call center extends hours for three days

The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance today announced that its Income Tax Call Center will extend its hours to assist last-minute filers.
The deadline to file a personal income tax return and pay any taxes owed is 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) Monday, April 18.
In addition to standard hours of operation from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET on weekdays, Tax Department experts will be available as follows:
- 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 15;
- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT on Saturday, April 16; and
- 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EDT on Monday, April 18.
