Once the changes take effect, you can view certain documents, including letters and bills, we sent you within the past three years—even if you are not, or have never been, signed up to receive electronic communications. You can find these documents in a new Documents section of your Account Summary homepage.
To better protect your sensitive information, you can prevent tax professionals from adding you as a client.
Password maintenance is simpler: you no longer need to choose Edit Personal Information and sift through all your account information to update your password. Instead, visit the Change Password page.
We’re increasing the number of Business Master Administrators you can have for your account from two to five.
There’s a new role in Business accounts: Managers. Managers can:
access the Employee Summary and:
add and remove Managers and Users
update existing Managers’ and Users’ roles and personal information
update the online services Users are authorized to access
access the Account Summary
access all available online services
access the Tax Professional Summary
Users can no longer manage other Users or tax professionals.
To simplify managing your account, you have a new Employee Summary page that displays all role types. It combines the current Master Administrator and User Summary pages.

If your client granted you access to all future and present services, you can view certain documents, including letters and bills, we sent your client within the past three years. You can find these documents in a new Documents section: from your Client Summary, select your client's name, then view the documents on your client's Account Summary homepage.
To add an individual client using return information, you must provide their taxable income and either their requested refund amount or amount reported owed. See Individual verification for instructions on where to find these amounts on your client's return.
We’re streamlining navigation within your client’s account. When performing work for a client, your ≡ Services menu contains links applicable only to that specific client. To change clients, select the client’s name, then choose Change Client to return to your Client Summary.
