Why

After STAR credits are issued, we use school tax bill data to confirm the credit amounts and calculate any necessary adjustments.

How

Forward the files for all municipal segments that you process, along with the property tax bill data file cover sheet, to proptaxbills.datafiles@tax.ny.gov. 

Your data file should be in one of these two formats:

• RPS160D laser bill extract, or
• standard data file layout
