New Enhanced STAR IVP Tool launches Monday

On Monday, November 25, the new Enhanced STAR (Income Verification Program) IVP Tool will be available in the Online Assessment Community.

The new IVP Tool corresponds to the new Form RP-425-IVP, Supplement to Form RP-425-E, which was expanded to enable our department to make accurate and timely eligibility determinations.

Similar to last year, you have the option to enter the data from Form RP-425-IVP, into the IVP Tool or to transmit the form to the Tax Department for data entry. (See How to transmit IVP forms to the Tax Department.)

You’ll also use the IVP Tool to update records where there have been primary residence or ownership changes.

We’ll include more information about the new tool in Monday’s Assessment Community Weekly, along with a link to the new IVP Tool User Guide.
