STAR Credit Update

We’ve begun sending checks for the STAR credit to homeowners across the state. If one of your constituents is wondering when they’ll receive their check, direct them to our STAR Credit Delivery Schedule. They only need to select their county, school district, and municipality to get the status of checks in their area.

And, along with checks, we’re also sending denial letters to property owners who are not eligible for a 2020 STAR credit. For a full list of STAR denial letters, see the Respond to a STAR letter section in the STAR Resource Center.

Pro tip: When looking at the list of form numbers, the STAR credit letters are identified by 5310, whereas the STAR exemption letters use 425.
