07/28/2021 The Online Assessment Community Update
The OAC is back up and running
The migration of the Online Assessment Community (OAC) to the new system is now complete. The secure site is back up and running! We’ve detected slight glitches and we ask for your patience while we work to resolve them.
One change you'll notice is that the Training Portal is no longer hosted within the secure site. To access the Training Portal, you'll now go to the OAC log in page. Follow these steps:
- Go www.tax.ny.gov,
- select the Real property tab,
- in the Resources section, select the link Online Assessment Community in the Local assessment officials box,
- select Training portal log in,
- enter your username and password (same credentials as the OAC).
Still experiencing issues?
It is important to note that you should clear your browsing history and data and start with a fresh browser before logging in to the new OAC. Some users may need to do this each time they log into the secure site.
Troubleshooting tips:
- Do not use a bookmark or favorite. Always log in from our OAC landing page.
- Clear your cookies, temporary files, and all history from your browser and open a new browser session. See the following browser-specific tips:
- Try using a different browser
