Three ORPTS publications updated
We’ve updated the publications below. To make them easier to print when you need them, they’re no longer in a pamphlet format.
Note: The links to these publications have changed. If you are linking to any of these publications from your municipal website, the links will no longer work. Please update the links asap.
- Fair Assessments: A guide for property owners
- Understanding the Equalization Rate
- The Homestead Tax Option
Fall and spring training schedule now online
Visit the ORPTS training schedule for a list of courses offered in person and online in the upcoming months. Register soon to make sure you get a spot!
IVP Tool down Sunday night
If you get the urge to update the IVP Tool the evening of Sunday, October 10, maybe watch 60 Minutes or football instead. The tool and the associated reports will be down from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Reminder: When properties sell
After a property sells, don’t forget to:
- transmit the sale and any changes to ORPTS (see Sales usability criteria),
- update your roll to reflect the sale inventory, and
- update the IVP record to indicate the property was sold.
