Guidance on the new 467 income worksheet (RP-467-Wkst) for non-filers
At the New York State Assessors Association conference, earlier this month, attendees had some questions about the new Form RP-467-Wkst, Income Worksheet for Senior Citizens Exemption. Applicants for the senior citizens exemption must submit the new worksheet if their incomes were low enough that they were not required to file a federal income tax return (Form 1040) with the Internal Revenue Service.
We created a new webpage to explain how the worksheet should be used to determine the eligibility of those property owners.
