4. RPS users filing instructions

Reporting operations section

Users of the New York State Real Property System (RPSV4) may submit computer files and reports to satisfy the filing requirements of the Assessor's report for parts 1 and 2. Parts 6 and 7 must be filed using the appropriate ORPTS forms.

Processing of parts 1 and 2 of the Assessor's report requires our receipt of the following files and reports from the final roll file

• Backup of assessment roll database files titled RPS.db & RPS.log
• Signed Assessor's report Part 1

Users of RPSV4 should refer to Volume 8, Section 6 of the Assessor Manual's for specific instructions on how to complete and file the Assessor's report using the RPS system.
