5. Special instructions for non-RPS homestead assessing units
If the assessing unit uses the RPS system, all information regarding homestead is automatically provided. If the assessing unit is a homestead assessing unit and does not use the RPS system, the following additional data is required on the assessor's report:
- On Part 1 of both; the prior roll and the current roll:
- Summaries as identified by village SWIS code, town outside village SWIS code, and school district code of the total assessed value of all locally assessed properties in the homestead class. Please note that the totals include only roll section 1 and 6 properties. Roll section 3 properties are not included in these totals.
- Summaries as identified by village SWIS code, town outside village SWIS code, and school district code of the total assessed value of all locally assessed properties in the non-homestead class. Please note that the totals include only roll section 1 and 6 properties. Roll section 3 properties are not included in these totals.
- Part 2:
- A detailed list of each parcel which from the prior roll to the current roll changed from the homestead class to the non-homestead class or from the non-homestead class to the homestead class.
- An indicator for each parcel or part of a parcel in the homestead class on the prior or current roll.
