Eligibility for the Enhanced STAR credit is based on income from the tax year two years prior. See STAR eligibility.
What to do next
We are requesting your income from two years prior to verify your eligibility for the Enhanced STAR program.
Within 30 days of receiving the letter, complete and submit Form RP-5300-WS, Income Worksheet that you received with your letter. Only provide copies of tax returns if they contain schedules that reported losses.
